SITTING ON STACY TAKE THE MUSIC SCENE BY STORM WITH THEIR EXUBERANT ENERGY
Alternative-rock trio Sitting On Stacy is taking the world by storm with their surf-like guitar riffs and ska essence. These heavy hitters set the Constellation Room stage at the Observatory in Santa Ana on fire to kick off the first date of their co-headlining tour with The Aquadolls. Local Southern California bands Joynoise and Hoity Toity also joined on this date of tour, making great additions to the lineup. Their lively energy perfectly encapsulated their love for performing and got the crowd jumping from wall to wall, preparing them for the headliners

Moving on to The Aquadolls, these self-proclaimed “Mermaid rock and rollers” really captured my attention. From lead singer Melissa Brooks’ dynamic vocals, Keilah Nina’s superb bass riffs, to Jacqueline Proctor’s heavy-hitting drum patterns -- The Aquadolls are a band that should be on your release radar. Seeing an all-girl band perform like there is no tomorrow was really inspiring. The constant growth of diversity in the scene is amazing to see and this is no different when it comes to speaking about The Aquadolls.
From the very first foot they laid on stage, Sitting On Stacy had an exuberant energy that enchanted you to bounce around to the beat of their music. Screams filled the room as they begun to strum the chords of their first song. I’ve been to many concerts in my life and never have I seen a crowd as energetic as theirs. From opening pits to starting a conga line, the crowd looked vibrant and exciting to be in; if I didn’t have my camera on me, I would have probably been a part of it too.

The passion these boys have for music is noticeable through their stage presence. They genuinely look like they’re having fun and playing like it’s their very last show. Sitting On Stacy has been added to our everyday music rotation and hope they make it to your bubbly playlists as well. They currently have two full-length albums, “Obsessed” and “Perfectly Sane” with a ton of new music on the way in 2022.
