GET TUFF SHOWS US TUFF LOVE WITH THE RELEASE OF "TUFF LUV VOL. 1"

Hello and get ready to hear about the latest release from GET TUFF, but first, for those of you who need it, here’s a small introduction. GET TUFF consists of RB Roe, the talented producer and singer who has participated in many different projects, such as Save Face, Jetty Bones, and The Weak Days. Roe made their first release under GET TUFF back in May of 2020 with the single ‘rag doll’-- which I listened to and loved. This release was followed by 4 other singles and a collaborative EP released June of 2021. However, they recently released a single under the name of ‘boyfriend’, was released on Valentine's Day 2022 and was the first look into their most recent release, their EP ‘tuff luv vol. 1’.

One thing I must say before I give the details on the album and thoughts about it, this EP has one of the coolest cover designs. The EP cover allows for listeners to view Roe and their personality, adding an individualistic touch to the album and the music. It also conveys the message that Roe has communicated many times, the idea of a tough person with big emotions, conveyed many times with the songs in the EP.
‘Tuff luv Vol. 1’ includes the release of 3 songs, including the previously released single ‘boyfriend’. The EP opens up with a new song titled ‘broke’ which has a fun melody to it, reminiscent of the emotions spring brings and has a very happy start. The song has a very loveable feeling to it, however, it speaks of the comfort of loving love, falling in a cycle of mistrust in a happy relationship due to previous heartbreak; the song also reminds us of the fun, happiness, and emotions that falling for someone brings, it’s up to us to figure out whether the heartbreak is worth the comfort of loving.

The track is followed by ‘boyfriend’ which was released on February 14th of this year, the song is an ode to the alternative to a boyfriend. I recommend you all listen to the single and enjoy it as much as I did. Finally, we have ‘all bets r off’ which is a lot different than the other two releases when it comes to the melody, this one was a lot slower, but still fitting to the theme of emotions.
