A DC-based post-modern rock group named The Missing Peace, and self-proclaimed “the chillest band on earth,” has just released their new single titled ‘FIREWORK.’ A little background on this band in case you’re not familiar with them, the band began in 2017 as a duo with Nicolas Pascale, the band’s lead guitarist, and Christopher “Lazarus” Pamah, the band’s rhythm guitarist. Eventually, the band added lead singer Luciano Amato, drummer Maxwell Minichiello, and Andrew Nixon on the bass. Their first EP titled ‘garage’ was released in March of 2021, months after introducing Minichiello to the band, and consisted of four songs. Since the release of that EP, The Missing Peace has released four singles, consisting of ‘we’re not weebs,’ ‘tiger face,’ ‘Plummeting,’ and ‘HARSHMELLOW.’

Their newest release, a single titled ‘FIREWORK,’ is done in collaboration with producer Cameron Mizell. The single has been described as “a song that features everything from intense breakdowns & gritty vocals to melodic, pop-influenced hooks.” The Missing Peace definitely shows their unique music style across their music, arguing against having a specific and niche genre. This lack of genre allows for their multiple personalities to come together and represent each member in their music, this is shown across their music and we can see it again in their latest single. This new single has a very captivating melody and definitely attaches itself to the actual lyrics of the single. ‘FIREWORK’ demonstrates the story of someone feeling stuck at a point in time and asking for some guidance or help, which many have found in a position before. Within their music, The Missing Peace shows their undivided attention to pursuing music for the sake of passion and admiration for the art of it, and it pays off by creating a different sound that people can relate to and understand

While we await a new project from The Missing Peace, we encourage you all to follow them on social media and stream their new and previously released songs. We can’t wait to cover any future releases and tours from this band. “FIREWORK” is out now on all streaming platforms, we encourage you to listen!
