The Treedome, the incredibly intriguing LA band that successfully incorporates indie and jazz together, just released their newest track “She Won’t Stay”. “She Won’t Stay” is a lovely indie-jazz track with a catchy emotional chorus, with an even more interesting set of instrumentals.

The song consists of longing lyrics, leaving listeners to share a sense that the artist is longing for someone who doesn’t see them in the same light. The bridge of the song, includes the lyrics, “So I'll just go around and find someone else to keep me company when I feel alone at night, I'll look back and think about your eyes” are very haunting, in which the vocals definitely contributes to that. The vocals, reminiscent of Clairo, bring another whole sense of longing as it causes the lyrics to feel more haunting than if they had a different style of vocalist.

Backed with light jazz track, this song does a perfect job at emphasizing the amount of emotion in the song. Something incredibly unique about this band is their ability to mix light indie vocals, with loud instrumentals, especially the solo nearing the end of the song. The different aesthetics blend together beautifully, as the ending feels very natural while still holding the amazing feeling the rest of the track produces.

This feels like an incredibly interesting progression for the band, and a beautiful one. The Treedome has the capability to become your new favorite band.
