With live music slowly returning around the UK, it had felt like a long time since anyone has seen eager fans queueing on the streets in front of venues, for some this would most likely be their first gig in over a year and a half.
Before they could take the stage, Static Dress, who was also nominated for best UK Breakthrough took the stage. Frontman Olli brought a ton of energy to the stage which was quickly mirrored by the crowd building the energy and excitement in the room. |
The energy only continued to build as Wargasm came on stage opening with one of their recent singles ‘Salma Hayek’. As the set continued there was an explosion of enthusiasm from the crowd, as lyrics were shouted back towards the stage. There was not a single moment where it felt like things were slowing down, and as the set drew to a close the energy didn’t die.
