Boston Manor Mark 10 Years of Be Nothing. With Anniversary Tour & Reissue
Boston Manor have announced plans to mark the 10th anniversary of their debut album Be Nothing. with a special reissue and a full UK and US tour, where they will perform the record in its entirety for the first time.
The Be Nothing. 10 Year Anniversary Edition is set for release on 14 August via Pure Noise Records. Alongside the reissue, the band will revisit key tracks from the album with new acoustic versions, including fan favorites “Laika” and “Lead Feet.”
Originally released in 2016 and produced by Neil Kennedy, Be Nothing. quickly established Boston Manor as a rising force in alternative rock. The record was praised for its emotional intensity and genre-blending sound, laying the foundation for the band’s evolving identity. It also introduced standout singles such as “Laika,” “Lead Feet,” and “Fossa,” which remain central to their early legacy.
Reflecting on the album’s impact, bassist Dan Cunniff shared how pivotal the era was for the band’s development:
“For me; writing and recording Be Nothing. was one of the most exciting things we had done at that time... I think we achieved our goals with Be Nothing. because I believe this record holds up even today 10 years on. The record did more than we thought it would do for us. It opened up so many doors, especially in the touring world.”
He also recalled the band’s early touring breakthrough and the confidence the record gave them moving forward:
“be nothing. gave us the confidence that we can be a ‘real’ band after all.”
Cunniff highlighted “Lead Feet (Corner Piece)” as a standout moment from the album’s creation, noting it was one of the earliest demos and a key learning experience in songwriting and structure.
To accompany the anniversary campaign, Boston Manor will embark on a UK and US tour beginning in November. The shows will feature Be Nothing. performed in full for the first time, marking a milestone moment for both the band and fans who have followed their evolution over the past decade.
