Finding Peace Through the Pressure: Savings Return With New Single “Stressed Out”
Summer is the time for changes, a time of season where many of us see a lot of goodbyes and fresh starts, and this feeling may be what makes “Stressed Out” - the new single by Savings - the song of the summer. Savings, an alternative pop-rock band from Alburquerque, New Mexico who up until recently was in a hiatus, has just come back into the scene with their newest single “Stressed Out”. Last seen in August 2024 with their EP “How Do You Feel?,” the band took this time to focus on curating their craft and developing their passion behind the music. After a short break, “Stressed Out” was released alongside a new music video to reintroduce themselves.

This single, which directly parallels their own experience, resonates strongly with those who constantly reevaluate paths, much like the band did before welcoming this new creative comeback. “Stressed Out” is a new sound, it’s a refreshing mix of multiple influences and goes to show that Savings is here to do what they want, mark their voice, and make changes without any fear. In their single, Savings expresses the feeling of finally finding home, a place where you can figure it out and just be instead of scrambling to find out.
